Assistant Shooting Rep
A vacancy exists for the role of Assistant Shooting Rep. The person appointed will be dealing with all Fullbore issues in concert with the County Shooting Rep SMI Richie.
They will also over the next year or so will be introduced to the mysteries of the Smallbore competition side of shooting by TSMI Entwistle. Date - 09/11/2010 TSMI role
SMI Entwistle is as of the 1st of November the TSMI for A Company. The role has been specified by the new O.C. and is slightly different to that under the previous O.C. Basic duties are as below.
Support Training Officer
Run Senior Cadet programme, i.e. all post 2 star APC training
Adult Training
Supervise training and testing standards with Detachments
To this end TSMI Entwistle will be attempting to visit all Detachments at least once before Christmas. Detachments are requested to carry on as normal during these visits. All visits will be unannounced.
Senior Cadet Programme
This programme is under development with implementation expected to be rolled out in the first quarter of 2011. It will include all post 2 Star APC training, i.e. Ranger, JCIC, JNCO, 4 Star and the like. TSMI Entwistle welcomes input and ideas from Senior Cadets and Adults.
The O.C. has stated that this programme is to be run by a small team under the command of TSMI Entwistle. Any Adult who would like to be considered please speak to TSMI Entwistle.
Non APC elements such as CVQ, DOE and the like will be under the control of the Admin Cell
