Annual Camp 2011 will be held at West Tofts Camp, Thetford over the period 30 July to 6 August 2011. 

Camp activities will include; Target Shooting, Fieldcraft, Drill, Mountain Biking, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, Military Exercises, Sailing/Canoeing, Sporting Competitions, Assault Course Training and culminating in the Commandants Parade.  

The cost is £55 for the week and includes all travel, food, accommodation and activities.  You may pay by weekly instalments of as little as £2.00 per week but please understand that the final total amount must be paid by 1 May 11 at the very latest.  You must also be aware that no refunds can be given after 1 June 11.

Apart from enjoying themselves, the training we give helps to build up self confidence, teaches them to be more independent and also brings out any leadership qualities that they may have.  They also have a tremendous amount of fun.

Because of the logistics involved with moving approx 700 cadets over the full camp period, County Headquarters needs to know approximate numbers as soon as possible.  We would therefore be grateful if you could complete the letter which can be downloaded below and return it to the Detachment Commander at your earliest convenience.  All cadets are also issued with a T Shirt at Annual Camp.  Would you please indicate the size required. (Cadets may have already received this form from their Detachment Commander). 

May we take this opportunity to remind all parents that the Ministry of Defence will take NO responsibility for cadets personal equipment.  All kit and personal belongings should be clearly marked and insured under normal household cover.
