Sunday - Skills Day...

Well its 0900 Hrs and the Cadets have already deployed to the training area. Rooms have been cleaned and inspected, weapons, ammunition, stores and food have all been drawn and issued and we are off to the skills day! See below for the breakdown of what the cadets are doing today...

Saturday - Arrivals day...

Well.... All he coaches picked up as planned and the trip to Sennybridge was not as long as feared with the first coach arriving on camp shortly after 1200Hrs and the final coach prior to 1300Hrs. The final count being 151...
 
The Cadets are being allocated barrack rooms as I type and will soon be issued with their T Shirts, Bags and Waterproofs!
 
1900 Hrs and the first full meal is done, a choice of steak, gammon, pasta, chicken kiev, Jackets with cheese and veg... The commandants brief is over and the cadets are being issued the rest of the kit they will need for the training day and exercise to follow...
 
 
When thats done the cadets will be back to their rooms to pack their kit ready for the training day and exercise tomorrow...

Hi Everybody....
 
The OC here, and as we run into camp we have a huge amount of preparation to do! I am hopeful that we will again be able to provide a full blog this year, but I am warned that the mobile phone coverage in camp is very poor and that doesn't bode well for the uploading of lots of photos and reports. However, necessity is the mother of all invention, so I am sure we will get some info up for you on a dail basis.
 
To wet the appetitie a little I thought I would share with you our block programme for the week so that you can see what exciting activities A Company will be taking part in on a dialy basis.
